Do you believe making New Year’s resolutions is useless ?
I believe that they help turn the page for a fresh new start. I must say that 2011 was more than great, it was amazing. Many dreams came to light such as FabFemmes, blogging collaborations with globLove Martin Lim, NuFashion, Net a La Mode and Phillips Lounge, just to name a few. Although the site was hacked during the 21st Montreal Fashion Week Edition, courage and tenacity kept Marjorie’s Closet going. At that time I had one thing in mind “to never give up !”. Also, I was thankful to have had great technical support to finally bring Marjorie’s Closet back on the web. I embraced difficult moment which later turned into glory such as becoming a guest judge on the reality web-tv show FlashMods alongside affluent fashion and lifestyle bloggers. I must say that being surrounded by a strong support system truly helps. During time of hardship, it is great to be with strong minded individuals. It is wise to take breaks but never give up. This may be what living your life in style stands for. I can thank my optimistic and positive mind for Marjorie’s Closet’s success.
On this note I leave you here with my top 5 2012 resolutions. They are not promises but goals to attain for the New Year.
1- Bring out Marjorie’s Closet personality
2- Do something meaningful to help the community
3- Publish more designer posts
4- Do something to meet you all!
5- Publish engaging posts
Bonus : Stay hungry for creativity, learning and success
In other words, even if I don’t read my goals or resolutions everyday. Somehow, something mystical happens. When I read them over at the end of the year… all my wishes come true.
What are your resolutions ? Do you believe in making New Year’s resolutions ?
Happy New Year to all of you,
p.s : Thanks to all of you who supported Marjorie’s Closet. I truly enjoyed reading your lovely comments.
