For the first time, I visited Charlotte Hosten’s whimsical jewelry boutique located in the Mile End on Bernard Street.
I had an appointment for 2h30 pm and arrived way early. Charlotte was sitting behind her computer and welcomed me with a huge smile.
Few seconds after, Karine (whom I spoke on the phone to book the appointment) greeted and offered me a glass of water. We all spoke about a project I had in mind.
Behind the well organized atelier we can hear Ariane at the sewing machine while we talked.
When asked if they ever feel overwhelmed Ariane, Charlotte and Karine laughed and said with confidence:
“Not at all!”. I mean how can you be anxious when you are surrounded by pearls, silks, ribbons, sparkle, shine and vintage jewelry?
These luxury pieces of art are simply more then magnifique. Going to Charlotte Hosten’s is more then jewelry making but a peace heaven. This place truly reflects that dreams do come true when we put our minds into what we do best.
